Lockdown-day 20

“Everyone is bored, and devotes himself to cultivating habits” – Albert Camus, The Plague

This is all I could do today, not out of boredom but I am mentally and physically exhausted. I need a break from this break so that I don’t break down. Physically exhausted because there is a lot of cooking and cleaning, mentally because the lockdown has been extended till April 30. I need to drive my car, go to office, get bored at work and come back home to whine about it. Wouldn’t that be amazing !!!

Happy Sketching…. Happy Blogging !!!

  1. Don’t be tempted to wish for an early end to the lockdown and then we all go out again and catch Covid-19. Without a lockdown the deaths in Great Britain were estimated at 500,000, so wherever you are, a lockdown is really necessary until the deaths start to go down.

  2. That’s so lovely! My mother-in-law has some beautiful china blue and white balls that look a little like your picture. I adore them!! Katie

  3. There’s no question of heroism in all this,” Dr. Rieux said. “It’s a matter of common decency. That’s an idea which may make some people smile, but the only means of righting a plague is, common decency.”
“What do you mean by ‘common decency’?” Rambert’s tone was grave.
I don’t know what it means for other people. But in my case I know that it consists in doing my job,” Rieux said
